NGE rectifies Mustapha Isah as its President

By Dan Ekah

Nigerian Guild of Editors on Friday endorsed the election of its Vice President, West, Mr. Mustapha Isa as its substantive President.

The endorsement took place during an extra-ordinary congress held during the 15th All Nigeria Editors Conference taking place in Sokoto.

Mr. Isah had on the 10th of November 2019 been elected acting President of the Guild by its standing Committee which had constituted itself into an electoral  college following the resignation of the former President, Funke Egbomode.

The extra-ordinary congress also mandated the standing committee to set up a special committee to review gray areas of its constitution to pave the way for the filling of vacant positions within the executive council of the Guild.

The annual conference ends on Saturday with a tour of projects and a  gala nite hosted by the Sokoto State Government.
