Zaaki Azzay turns 49 on Monday … to release new song

Nigerian music star, performer, song writer, music producer and executive producer, Zaaki Azzay, is set to release a new song as part of activities to mark his 49th birthday on February 19, 2024.

Widely recognised as pioneer of Hip-Hop Music in Nigeria, Zaaki Azzay was born in 1975 to the family of Thamos Ataver Fateh in Kaduna State where he was also brought up. He hails from Vandeikya Local Government Area of Benue State.

Azzay, who has a degree in Political Science from the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN), shot into national and international lime light after the release of his first album titled LOADED in 1994. Since then, he has remained on top of his music career with many Awards. Indeed, his latest release titled “NOTICE” is still making waves.

Aside music, Zaaki Azzay is also a Tv host and the CEO of True Nigerians TV, True Nigerians Party and True Nigerians Awards – a Tv programme that celebrates Nigeria as a country and Nigerians as a people, as well as Nigerians who are role models worth emulating – – who are “Heroes of Our Time.” This is why the TV program is called True Nigerians …Heroes of our time. The annual True Nigerians Awards & True Nigerians Party complements the TV programme.

Zaaki Azzay also holds a number of other positions. He is currently the Vice President of Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), a Human Rights Ambassador with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) and, a Special Marshal with the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC), among others.

The new song titled No Gree 4 Anybody, is expected to be released on Zaaki Azzay’s birthday, which is tomorrow and will be out on all digital platforms.
