Transfer: Former Super Eagles defender, Efe Ambrose joins Bury FC


Former Super defender, Ambrose Efe has joined English Premier Division club, Bury FC, DAILY POST reports.

Ambrose spent last season with Scottish club, Queen of the South.

The 35-year-old signed a one-year contract with the Shakers.

Bury FC manager, Dave McNabb, was delighted to have a player of his quality join the club.

“A ball playing centre half with an unbelievable pedigree and huge experience with over 50 international caps and over 400 professional appearances,” McNabb told the club’s official website.

“Efe is a great character and will certainly help some of the younger players in the squad.

“It’s a brilliant signing for the club and one I hope will excite the fans.”
