Transfer: Dele-Bashiru set to sign three-year contract at Watford


Nigerian midfielder, Tom Dele-Bashiru, is set to sign a new three-year contract at Sky Bet Championship club, Watford.

According to Sky Sports, Dele-Bashiru representatives and Watford are ironing out the final details of the contract.

The 24-year-old joined the London club from Manchester City in 2019.

The playmaker had his best campaign for the Hornets last season.

Dele-Bashiru registered two goals and four assists in 35 league appearances for Watford last term.

Dele-Bashiru has represented Nigeria at the U-20 and U-23 levels.

His younger brother, Fisayo, scored Nigeria’s only goal in the 1-1 draw with South Africa on Friday.
