Rivers United lament NPFL fixture congestion

Rivers United has said the team won’t be deterred despite its fixture congestion.

The Pride of Rivers have played four games in the last nine days.

The matches played are Rivers United’s outstanding fixtures accumulated following their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup.

They have recorded only one point in their last four games.

Rivers United have expressed their readiness to face the task ahead.

“4th match in 9 days. Bring it on! We’re not backing down!,” Rivers United wrote on their X handle.

“Ready to face this challenge head-on and make it count!.”

Rivers United will lock horns with Abia Warriors at the Umuahia Township Stadium on Wednesday(today).
