Heartland goalkeeper, Edwin Nwakamma, is set to miss the rest of the season due to injury.

Nwakamma broke his leg during a training session this week

The shot stopper is behind Godwin Paul and Chisom Chiaha in the pecking order at the club.

Nwakamma is yet to make an appearance for the Naze Millionaires this season.

He made the matchday squad twice for the Christian Obi’s side against Lobi Stars and Plateau United, respectively.

Heartland will host Bayelsa United in a matchday eight fixture at the Dan Anyiam Stadium, Owerri on Wednesday.

Christian Obi’s are yet to record a win in the NPFL this season.

Heartland are currently at the bottom of the NPFL table.
