18-Year-Old Arrested For Vandalising LED Road Stud Lights On Newly Renovated Lagos Third Mainland Bridge

The Lagos Rapid Response Squad (RRS) has captured an 18-year-old individual, Mubarak Abdullahi, on suspicion of vandalizing LED road stud lights on the recently refurbished Third Mainland Bridge in Lagos State.

The suspect allegedly removed 10 LED road stud lights screwed onto the road to enhance road user visibility.

In a statement on Friday by RRS, the suspect was caught red-handed around 10 am earlier in the day by the operatives patrolling the bridge.

Meanwhile, the RRS Commander, CSP Olayinka Egbeyemi weeks ago deployed bike riders on a 24-hour security patrol to the area to monitor traffic and protect infrastructure on the bridge.
