U.S. soldiers, S. Korea civilian test positive for COVID-19

Three more U.S. soldiers and one civilian in South Korea have tested positive for the COVID-19,  on Thursday Yonhap news agency reported citing the U.S. Forces Korea (USFK) command.

The three USFK service members and one dependent were confirmed with the COVID-19 after arriving the country between May 29 and June 12.

The confirmed patients have been transferred to designated isolation facilities at the U.S. army bases.

The total number of infections among the USFK-affiliated personnel rose to 901, according to Yonhap.

In the latest tally, South Korea reported 540 more cases of COVID-19 for the past 24 hours, raising the total number of infections to 149,731.

The daily average caseload for the past week was 490
