The lawmaker representing Kogi Central senatorial district, Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan has facilitated relief materials through MTN Foundation for orphanages in Kogi Central.

Senator Natasha facilitated the relief materials through MTN Foundation as part of the corporate social responsibility of the internet service provider to the senatorial district.

This is contained in a statement issued on Wednesday by her Chief Press Secretary, Mr Arogbonlo Israel.

During the handover of the materials at Darul-Arqam Okene, the MTN Nigeria Sales Specialist, Ebubechukwu Ndulue and the Project Coordinator, MTN Foundation, Adaku Ndukwe said they were on ground to ensure what they requested to be supplied corresponded with what was delivered.

Among the items distributed are: One deep freezer (Hisense), Six bags of 50kg of rice, Five gallons of vegetable oil (5ltrs), Five cartons of spaghetti, Five cartons of medicated soap, Six cartons of disinfectant Dettol (liquid), Six cartons of canoe soap, Six cartons of milo, One bag of garri, Six cartons of milk, 20 litres of oil (red oil), Three cartons of Maggi (Star), Three cartons of Diva detergent, One carton of sugar, and Ten tubers of yam.

The orphanages that benefited from the scheme include: Darul-Arqam Okene, MASWAJ Orphanage Foundation, Raaaf Foundation, Orphans Friends Foundation, and Oyiza Salem Divine Orphanage Home.
