Nigerian youths capable of providing solutions to problems facing country and Africa — APC

Nigerian youths are capable of providing solutions to some of the country’s and continent’s most difficult problems, the All Progressives Congress (APC), has said.

National Youth Representative in the APC Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary Conversation Planning Committee (CECPC), Alhaji Ismaeel Ahmed, Alhaji Ismaeel Ahmed, made the assertion in a statement to commemorate with Nigerian youths on the International Youth Day.

The Day is commemorated every year on August 12 to bring youth issues to the attention of the international community and to recognize the potential of youth as partners in today’s global society.

“Today, as we commemorate International Youth Day, I, on behalf of our great party and the CECPC, salute the potential and might of young people throughout the world.

With a big majority of the population under the age of 35, the country is ripe for growth.

“Some of the toughest challenges facing our nation and continent as a whole will be solved by our generation,” he remarked.

He went on to say that President Muhammadu Buhari’s APC leadership and government were committed to giving young people opportunities to guarantee that they were not just the leaders of tomorrow, but also the leaders of today.

He went on to say that the party’s leadership also wanted to assist young entrepreneurs with financing and a network to help them build their businesses.

“Youth are frequently at the vanguard of advocating for our party prior to, during, and after campaigns.

“Today, I honor the zealous energy of young people across Nigeria, as well as their potential to enhance and ensure our motherland’s future.

The day is also used to recognize youth’s potential as partners in today’s global society.

It allows young people’s voices, actions, and projects to be recognized and mainstreamed, as well as their meaningful, universal, and equal participation.

The day was established by the United Nations General Assembly, which supported the World Conference of Migrants’ recommendation on December 17, 1999.

The theme of the 2021 International Youth Day is:“Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health”.
