Havilla University to unveil Folashade Tinubu-Ojo Academic Complex inaugurates Governing Council

Bearing last minute change, all is now set by the management of Havilla University to inaugurate the institution’s governing council and unveil Chief Dr. Mujidat Folashade Tinubu-Ojo’s academic complex, at Havilla University, located at Nde-Ikom LGA of Cross River State.

Founder of the institution and former member representing Ikom/Boki federal constituency at the lower chamber of the National Assembly, Hon. Jones Tangban disclosed this while speaking with newsmen on Wednesday

He said the university was founded years ago by him as a way of contributing his quota towards national development.

Meanwhile, a letter signed by the institution, Pro-Chancellor, Chief Dr. Mrs. Folashade Tinubu–Ojo, dated February 17, 2024, lauded members of the Governing council for working in one accord with her.

“Thank you for the honor of leading the governing council of Havilla University and the naming of the academic complex after me.

“ In other to fulfill the directives of the National University Commission, I am pleased to inform you and the university management that Saturday, March 9, 2024, has been approved by me for the inauguration of the Governing Council.

Giving an insight of another event that is spectacular to the institution, the pro-chancellor stated that it would be an opportunity for the school management alongside with University Governing Council to unveil the academic complex named after her.

“I will also unveil the Chief Dr.Folashade Tinubu-Ojo’s complex on the same day”, Urging council members to make themselves avail for the ceremony”. The Pro chancellor maintained.
