Ghanaian President appoints new Aviation Minister

Ghanaian President Nana Akufo-Addo has reshuffled the portfolios of the ministers in his cabinet appointing a new aviation minister for the industry.

Former ministers Aviation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, is now the minister for Sanitation and Water Resources. She is being replaced by Hon. Kofi Adda, a member of parliament for Navrongo constituency and former minister for sanitation and water resources.

Also, John Peter Amewu, former minister for lands and Natural Resources and acting minister for Energy, is now Minister for Energy.

Kwaku Asomah-Cheremeh who heads Brong Ahafo Regional Ministry, is now Minister for Lands and Natural Resources.

Dr. Mustapha Abdul-Hamid now heads Inner City and Zongo Development, Ministry. He was the former minster for Information.

Hon. Cynthia Morrison, a member of parliament for Agona West constituency is now Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection designate.

The former Ambassador to Italy, Paulina Tangoba Abayage is now Upper East Regional Minister designate.

Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkurumah, a member of parliament for Ofoase/Ayirebi constituency and former deputy minister for information , is now the Minister for Information designate.
