Position Overview

  • Responsible for finding funding opportunities for our organization and writing polished proposals to earn grant money. researching deadlines, drafting grant requests and submitting reports for approval.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research grant opportunities from government and non-government agencies.
  • Draft grant proposals and supporting documents based on the funding requirements of the organization.
  • Report and submit proposals to business developer.
  • Maintain records and submit reports related to grant opportunities.
  • Work closely with program staff to gather information and data needed for grant proposals.
  • Write clear, compelling, and persuasive grant proposals that effectively communicate the organization’s mission, programs, and impact.
  • Customize grant proposals to meet the specific requirements and priorities of each funding opportunity.
  • Ensure that all grant proposals are submitted promptly and adhere to the funding agency or organization’s guidelines and requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 2+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising, with a track record of successfully securing grants from government agencies, foundations, corporations, or other sources.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to craft clear, concise, and compelling grant proposals and reports.
  • Strong research skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Knowledge of grant funding processes, regulations, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
