The operatives of the FCT police command attached to Iddo police division on July 9, 2024, at about 9:00 p.m., acting on credible intelligence, trailed and arrested one Nuhu Ezra ‘m’ of Gosa Kipikipi village, Lugbe, Abuja, with a human skull and bones.
SP Josephine Adeh, Police Public Relations Officer, FCT police command disclosed this in a statement with photos and video as well.
She said the suspect, who was found with the body parts upon interrogation, stated that he picked them up from the bush while hunting at Kuje and had the intention to sell the body parts for six hundred thousand naira (N600,000).
The Spokesman said further that while the commissioner of police, FCT, CP Benneth C. Igweh, psc, mni, has ordered that a thorough investigation be conducted to ascertain the bearer of the body parts, the intended buyer, if the suspect killed anyone to be in possession of the body parts, and how long the suspect has been in the alleged business, he also urged residents to be wary of their environment and report suspicious activities through the police emergency lines: 08032003913, 08028940883, 08061581938, and 07057337653 PCB: 09022222352, CRU: 08107314192.
