EPL: Ancelotti predicts what’ll happen to Enzo Maresca at Chelsea

Real Madrid manager, Carlo Ancelotti has backed his Chelsea counterpart, Enzo Maresca to ‘do well’ at the Blues amid concerns over his lack of ‘experience’ at the top level.

Many were surprised when Mauricio Pochettino left his role as manager of Chelsea this summer.

Chelsea then decided to bring in Maresca from Leicester City as Pochettino’s replacement.

“Experience is not the most important part of our job,” Ancelotti told John Obi Mikel’s Obi One Podcast.

“It’s part of our job, but of course, the most important part is the knowledge.”

He added, “And the fact that he has experience with Pep Guardiola and with Leicester City, I think he has the knowledge to manage and to do well at Chelsea.”
