Easter: Agba preaches love, peace and unity among Nigerians

Immediate past Minister of State for Budget and National Planning, Prince Clem Ikanade Agba, has called on Christians and other Nigerians to always love and be at peace with one another.

Agba made the call in his message to the Christian community in Edo State in particular and Nigeria in general, pointing out that Easter season exemplifies the trinity of love, peace and unity in our society.

He said the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross at Calvary was symbolic of love, stressing that love was necessary for peace to reign in Nigeria.

According to him, “Unity among Nigerians is predicated on the pedestals of love and peace. There is therefore the necessity to imbibe these three virtues for the progress and development of Nigeria.”

“I wish our great nation, Nigeria, greater prosperity in the months and years ahead on the watch of President Bola Tinubu as well as greater brotherhood among Nigerians irrespective of religious and ethnic differences. I wish Nigerians happy Easter celebrations,” Agba said.
