The Executive Secretary/CEO of the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children’s Education (NCAOOSCE), Dr Muhammad Sani Idris has disclosed that the commission was dedicated to providing quality education for Almajiri and out-of-school children.
In a statement on Monday commemorating Children’s Day 2024, he harped on the theme “For Every Child, Every Right.”
Accordingly to him, the commission is working tirelessly to provide quality education for Almajiri and out-of-school children, support effective education policies at all levels, and synergized with stakeholders to address the root causes of out-of-school children,” Dr. Idris stated.
He highlighted the importance of integrating western education into Almajiri schools, equipping children with vocational skills, and safeguarding their fundamental rights.
Dr. Idris called on all stakeholders to join forces in ensuring every child’s access to quality education and a brighter future.
He urged collective action to empower children and help them realize their full potential.
“The time to act is now,” he concluded, underscoring the urgency of the commission’s mission.
