Call for Quotations for the Supply of Scholastic Materials

In furtherance to the fulfilment of its obligation in the implementation of its education in emergencies response in Yobe, YOPCODI is requesting qualified vendors to provide teaching and learning materials under the following lots; LOT 1:

YOPCODI is currently in the process of prequalifying contracting firms with substantial presence in Yobe and extensive experience in educational material supplies within Northeast Nigeria.
QUALIFICATION OF VENDORS
For any bid to be considered for evaluation, the vendor MUST possess the following and submit alongside with the RFQ;
- Reputable companies/ registered businesses with track record of executing similar contracts (Evidence of Past Experience)
- Evidence of Tax Payment/ TIN
- Registered Address or Office within Nigeria
- Tax Clearance
- Evidence of Registration with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC)
- Existence of Bank Account in the Name of the Company or Business
Please note that ALL YOPCODI procurements are based on the following principles;
- Zero Tolerance to corruption and fraud
- Value for Money
- Zero tolerance to Terrorism Financing
- Zero tolerance to Child Labor/Abuse
- Full compliance with applicable Corporate Laws in Nigeria
SELECTION CRITERIA
The following criteria was set by the procurement committee to guide the selection process.

- Proven Previous Experience
- Credit Strength
- Quality of Materials and Warranty
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF QUOTATIONS
- Response to RFQs should be sent to YOPCODI via e-mail:
procurement@yopcodi.org.ng and Cc; yobepeace@gmail.com , no later than Monday 27th May, 2024 before close of business (CoB). Please quote [YOPCODI/RFQ/NHF27186-2024/001 (Scholastic Materials) while clearly stating the lot you are applying for as subject of the email. e.g [YOPCODI/RFQ/NHF-27186-2024/001 (Scholastic Materials) LOT:1 or 2.
- Prospective Vendors are also advised to use the RFQ template attached to this call for quotation to submit their quotations.
- Prospective Vendors can also submit completed RFQs in Hard Copy in a sealed envelope to YOPCODI Head office Off-Gujba-Maiduguri Bye-pass road, beside Sand Dunes Hotels Damaturu, Yobe State. Dateline of submission remain the same for both methods.
- Please note that submission of RFQ will be subjected to a rigorous evaluation based on standard criteria in line with YOPCODI’s Procurement policy. Therefore, response to this request for quotation does not automatically guarantee that you will be selected for the supply.
- YOPCODI reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the RFQ and/or solicitation process. YOPCODI also reserves the right to require compliance with additional conditions as at when issuing Purchase Order.
- For further enquiries on this RFQ, you can contact us via the above email addresses on or before 27th May, 2024 not later than 4:00pm Nigerian Time. No enquiry or request for clarification would be entertained beyond this date.
