President Muhammadu Buhari is likely to propose the 2022 budget before a joint session of the National Assembly on Thursday, according to Deputy Senate President Ovie Omo-Agege.
When he presided over the Senate plenary on Tuesday, Omo-Agege made this clear.
According to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN), President Muhammadu Buhari presented a revised 2022-2024 Medium Term Expenditure (MTEF) and Fiscal Strategy Paper (FSP) to the Senate for approval on Tuesday.
The revised MTEF/FSP establishes the foundation for the estimates and assumptions that form the basis of the annual budget.
