Reports from Nigeria’s North-Western State of Zamfara, said gunmen abducted hundreds of girls from a boarding secondary school in the early hours of Friday in the town of Jangebe.
A parent and a teacher who was in the school during the attack told the BBC that more than 300 students are believed to have been kidnapped.
As at the time of filing this report, The Police Command in Zamfara State have yet to comment on the incident.
