Bauchi deputy governor hails Gov. Mohammed for commitment to inclusive governance

The Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Mohammed Auwal Jatau has tasked participants of the last Friday’s retreat to utilize knowledge gained to fast track government policies and programmes.

Jatau gave the charge at the closing ceremony of a 3-day retreat for Commissioners, Special Advisers, Permanent Secretaries and Caretaker Committee Chairpersons.

The retreat was arranged by Bauchi State Head of Civil Service, and Secretary to the State Government held at Sultan Saad Abubakar Hajj Camp, Bauchi.

The Deputy Governor noted that participants have deliberated extensively and, there is need for them to remain steadfast and should help the regime surpass its previous achievements and set higher goals of governance for quality service delivery to the governed.

He noted that through effective collaboration, innovation, and inclusivity, the state will progress to greater heights.

” Governor Bala Mohammed’s initiation and support of the retreat is a reflection of his vow to foster a culture of excellence, innovation, and partnership within the government machinery”.

“This retreat, with the themed ‘My Bauchi Project: Success and Lessons of the first term of my leader, mentor, Sen. Bala Abdulkadir Mohammed on the way forward’, is an enlightening and enriching experience for all of us here. This retreat has served as a platform for self-reflection, evaluation, and exploration of the tremendous strides achieved by the government in pursuit of ‘My Bauchi Project”.

“By bringing together, our political appointees and top civil servants, we can say the Governor has once again proven his dedication to inclusive governance and participatory decision-making.

We have have insightful presentations, engaging discussions, and fruitful deliberations. The collective wisdom, expertise, and experiences shared by participants have enriched our understanding of the successes, challenges, and lessons learned during the first term of the Governor.

“As we celebrate the successes, it is important to acknowledge that the milestones are attributed to the tireless efforts and dedication of political appointees and top civil servants.

Gov. Mohammed’s vision has contributed immensely to overall development and progress of Bauchi state.”

Jatau also, hailed organizing committee for their meticulous planning and coordination that made the retreat a success and thanked participants whose sound engagements have made the retreat a true transformative experience.
