The member representing Awe/Doma and Keana, Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, Abubakar Hassan Nalaraba, has described the victory of APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as victory for democracy.
Nalaraba, who won his re-election during last week’s elections said Tinubu’s victory is an era of renewed hope for all Nigerians, irrespective of party and religious inclination.
“Your Excellency, I am particularly pleased to extend to you my warm and heart-felt congratulations, as well as my wishes for success in the discharge of your duties as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”
Nalaraba, who holds the traditional title of Sadaukin Lafia, thanked the electorates for their support and commitment which led to the well deserved victory of APC at the national level.
It would be recalled that INEC) has declared Hon Nalaraba, as the winner of last Saturday’s election to represent Awe, Doma and Keana, Federal Constituency.
Dr Sadiq Abubakar Aliyu, INEC Returning Officer for the election said Nalaraba, polled 34,184 votes to beat other 8 contestants.
Dr Aliyu, said the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bunu Yahaya Usman, of PDP, scored 32,306 votes, while that of the ZLP, Abdullahi Mohammed Ogeyi, scored 5,933 votes and the candidate of PRP, Ishaleku Joseph Danjuma, with least votes, scored 50 votes.
