2023 elections: Nigeria Army releases distress hotlines

The Nigeria Army Theater Command, Joint Task Force, North East Operation Hadin Kai Maiduguri, has released distress hotlines for the general public to report any suspicious element during the 2023 general elections for rapid response from the military across the north eastern part of the country.

The Theater Command disclosed this in a statement via its Twitter handle on Thursday, February 23, 2023.

It said the approved hotlines which are available at all the three sectors of the theater command are said to be specifically for the monitoring and reporting of security breach, illegalities and suspicious acts or any act of rampage, violence by any individual or group or association in the North East Region.

The Army urged the general public to call the numbers below and report any suspicious act or moves that poses a threat to peaceful conduct of the 2023 General Elections in the North Eastern region of Nigeria.
